LG’s LED television will now be produced in Nepal. CG Electronics under Chaudhary Group will assemble LG’s LED TV in Nepal.
The assembly plant has started in Satungal, Kathmandu. LG Electronics Singapore Managing Director Sungho Chun inaugurated the assembly plant on Wednesday.
Managing Director Nirwan Choudhary informed that Daudhri Group will start work with 100 employees at the beginning. Out of 100 people, 70 percent will be female employees.
As the TV will be assembled in Nepal, it is estimated that the price will be cheaper. It is said that in the near future, along with LED TV, LG’s home appliances and entertainment appliances will also be produced in Nepal.
