The country’s digital payment transactions are increasing. Recently QR code payments have also increased rapidly.
According to the data of 9 months of the current financial year published by Nepal Rastra Bank, 2.72 billion 2.2 million has been paid in the month of March.
This is 667 million rupees more than the previous month. In the month of February, there was a turnover of 2 billion 55 million rupees.
This month there has been a significant increase in the number of payments. In the month of Chait, 635 thousand 738 electronic transactions have taken place. In the previous month, there were 535,790 electronic transactions.
58 lakh 90 thousand rupees were paid in the first month of the current financial year i.e. July. Payments made through mobile wallets in nine months are 11 billion 21 million rupees.
