Reddit’s iOS app now has a video feed feature similar to TikTok. The app has a swipable video collection, which also appears in subscribed subreddits. It also comes in other related posts.
Like other posts, users can upvote, downvote, comment and send gifts. Its basic version was also available in the app earlier but it used to come only after clicking on a video.
The company believes that this will bring more users to the app. The app has introduced this feature to provide a unified experience to users. Reddit made this feature available to some users in July.
The company has not said when the feature of video feed will come in the Android version. Reddit also bought TikTok’s competitor Dubsmash in December 2020. Recently, the use of video format has been increasing a lot, so Reddit has also introduced this feature.
