Instagram is internally testing a feature that will show some users at the top of their feed. This will help users run an algorithm to determine which posts will be promoted.
This tool will allow you to add accounts of friends, family members, creators so that the software gives priority to such accounts.
The app is going to make this feature public after the users keep complaining about not being able to see the posts of the people they want.
Until now, Instagram’s algorithm decides how many users to show a post by remembering how popular it is.
Similarly, how much you interact with an account also makes a difference in whether a post is shown or not. It is not yet known whether this feature is official or not.
