Facebook has released a new tool for users in Afghanistan to lock their accounts. It helps to modify people’s privacy settings.
This is Facebook’s ‘one click’ tool. This allows you to reset the privacy settings on your timeline posts. This prevents profile photos from being downloaded or shared.
This feature also limits what strangers can see on your timeline. The company said that this tool is not available for Instagram.
The app will inform users through a pop-up about a separate way to lock the account in Instagram. In Afghanistan, Facebook has also made it impossible to view the friend list.
The company has also said that it will make every effort to protect its users and for this the company has also set up a separate operation center.
