Digital Karnali Startup Fest is to be organized in Surkhet, the capital of Karnali. The ‘Huawei Digital Karnali Dialogue in Association with InfoDevelopers’ will be organized by ICT Foundation Nepal on Thursday, May 25.
In the digital dialogue, a panel dialogue will be organized between the expert stakeholders of the private and public sectors of Karnali. The dialogue will start at 2 pm on Thursday at Siddhartha Sunny Resort in Birendranagar Surkhet.
According to the organizers, there will be a wide-ranging discussion on the state of digitization of Karnali and the policy and action plan to be adopted in the coming days.
A Startup and Idea Fest will also be held at Siddhartha Sunny Resort on Thursday.
Various startups and product based companies working with technology and innovation in Karnali will be able to participate in the fest. The fest will start at 1 pm.
Along with the fest, experience sharing and mentoring sessions and idea pitching will also be organized. Leading personalities working in the field of startups in experience sharing and mentoring sessions will share their venture travel experience and provide training in entrepreneurship.
Participating startups will also present their ideas in the Idea Pitching Session. Out of these, the best five ideas will be selected for incubation and coordinated with potential investment ventures.
