It has been found that false information has been issued by creating fake Facebook page in the name of Nepal Rastra Bank. Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that various information has been issued by creating a fake Facebook page in its name and it is not official.
Nepal Rastra Bank has not yet had any official Facebook page. “All Facebook users are advised not to enter any of their information on the Facebook pages opened in the name of this bank,” Nepal Rastra Bank said in a statement.
The NRB has stated that those who post misleading information by creating a Facebook page of Nepal Rastra Bank will be punished according to the law related to cyber crime.
Nepal Rastra Bank has also requested the public not to believe in such misleading Facebook posts.
