Delhi’s high court has ordered Facebook, Twitter and search engine Google to remove global content defaming yoga guru Baba Ramdev. This is the first time a Delhi court has issued such an order.
According to Judge Pratibha M Singh, such an order should be implemented immediately and effectively. According to the order, videos, weblinks and URLs defaming Ramdev uploaded from India will have to be removed and blocked.
The court issued the order to Facebook, Twitter and Google at the request of yoga guru Ramdev.
